Biographical Information

F.F. Centore was born in 1938 in Brooklyn, New York. He received his education at Riverside High School and Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, - the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and at St. John's University in New York City. Since 1969 he has been teaching at St. Jerome's College, which is federated with the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. A scholar of note, he is the author of several books and numerous articles. His books include Persons: A Comparative Account of the Six Possible Theories (1979), Being and Becoming: A Critique of Post-Modernism (1991), and Confusions and Clarifications: An Introduction to Philosophy for the Twenty-First Century (1997).
